A Full Life

Every day I wake up I thank Supported Housing for making my life so full. Ever since I got out of the Westboro State Hospital about fifteen years ago Supported Housing has taken me under its wing. I had nothing to look forward to when I was discharged from the Hospital, but they brought me into their program and gave me the opportunity to pursue my personal goals and gave me the opportunity for a normal life which I couldn’t otherwise foresee. They paid my monthly rental for a private first-class apartment so I could have decent living conditions. My apartment is closely located next to Employment Options which helped me to get a job and provided transportation daily to work for eight years. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to work and get an income. Supported Housing is always there when I need a ride to the Fathers Table Church supper and I can get a hot meal three days a week and also to Mass on Sunday. Being a client of Supported Housing has been a lifesaver for me and has made my life worth living. It has enabled me to pursue my private goal of accumulating savings so that I can one day marry like everybody else and probably buy a mobile home. I can’t thank Supported Housing enough for treating me like a human being and for being there for me. So I submit this endorsement of Supported Housing and I humbly thank them for being there for me.
